As always, if BarCuts is already running on your Mac, either wait for the automatic update to pop up on its own (which might take up to 24h), or open the app window, then select “Check for updates …” from the main menu.

New and exciting
The “Copy” link in the Shortcuts editor’s Tagger Panel is now configurable in the Settings tab – choose between ID-based links (stable, won’t break even if you rename the workflow) or title-based links (more telling at a glance). (ICYMI, this feature was introduced in 2025.5, and copies a local link for running the workflow from any other app on your Mac.)
When you click the link to send a feedback/support email, the app now offers to generate a diagnostics report for you to attach to the mail. This report will make it easier for me to help you. Teamwork!
Refreshed the app icon a bit for macOS 26 Tahoe.
No longer broken
- Several Tahoe-related issues were fixed.
- I’ve received a report about the Raycast extension, Alfred workflow, or CLI tool sometimes not returning the list of tagged workflows as expected until the app is manually restarted. I think I’ve found and fixed the cause – but should you come across this issue still, please send me an email from the app. Thanks in advance!
