I’ve just released a new Browser Actions version, please download it from the product page:
https://actions.work/browser-actions
Well, this one took a while! Browser Actions speaks new languages, has a tidier main window, and I’ve done a fairly ridiculous amount of work under the hood.
New Features
- Browser Actions now speaks six languages — In addition to English, the app is now available in German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Polish. (This includes the app and its Shortcuts actions, of course.) Hi, hallo, bonjour, ciao, hola, cześć! If you come across anything that looks off, please let me know.
No longer broken
- Fixed several edge cases around expired licenses and license activation. In particular, a failed activation no longer replaces the license already stored.
- If a Shortcut launched Browser Actions in the background and you then opened the app, it could close itself again. It has stopped doing that.
Changes
- Simulate Typing now handles Unicode characters, emoji, and different keyboard layouts more reliably.
- The main window now uses a more compact, native macOS tab layout.
- The 14-day trial now behaves consistently across the app and its Shortcuts actions. After it ends, the actions require a license. Same as before, but now with more consistency.
- Browser Actions now requires macOS 15.7 or newer.
- Made some necessary preparations for macOS 27.
