I’m using AFO to check for and create the Daily Note if it doesn’t exist. When I let it create the Daily Note, it doesn’t replace the Templater templates; I have to replace them manually. Is this expected, and will I have to run the “Templater: Replace templates in active file” manually?
I have noticed the same problem creating periodic notes using Create Note with Templater. I also had to manually Replace all temples after the note is created. I hadn’t reported it earlier because I thought it was something might be doing and so I was investigating further. Now it seems like the definitely something these needs fixing.
Good morning, @PowerSchill and @doug78645!
I had a customer report the issue about a week and a half ago, and I ran some tests which they confirmed made the problem vanish for them.
So I’ve applied a fix to AFO’s companion plugin Actions URI, and released a new version a few minutes ago. Please update the companion plugin Actions URI in Obsidian (Settings → Community plugins → Check for updates, find Actions URI in the list, and hit Update). The current version is 1.7.2 (see Release: Actions URI 1.7.2).
Let me know if this update fixes the issue for you!
It worked perfectly this morning. Thanks for the super fast fix.
