I have Navidrome configured to scrobble with my Kioto server. Adding the same to Listening Post leads to duplicates when listening to Tracks via Navidrome. Right now, I have to remember to “stop listening” in Listening Post when listening via Navidrome. I wonder if there is a way for Listening Post to detect that I have already scrobbled the same track a few seconds / minutes ago and just skip it?
If I understand you right, you’re talking about scrobbling from two different sources, to the same server, and this causes duplicates?
If so: LP doesn’t check the scrobbling endpoint for existing scrobbles, and I don’t plan on adding that, either.
What I do plan on, however, is automation capabilities: LP will soon be able to receive start/stop signals by macOS Shortcuts and/or URL scheme. Depending on your setup, this might help?
