Expected behavior for Check for Note action

When I use the Check for Note shortcut action, the Obsidian Actions URI plugin throws an information/warning box that the requested note does not exist. While this doesn’t impact functionality (correct values are returned), it’s a bit distracting to have an info box pop up when I am asking Obsidian to verify the existence of a note. Is this expected behavior? Is there a way to silence this alert message?

Welcome to the forum, @davidski! Hmm, good point. Right now, this is expected behavior, yes – but I’ll put it on my todo list. I’ll need to see what can be done about it w/o the need of rewriting the whole plugin.

A bit of background: The reason for that is that behind the scenes, Actions For Obsidian tasks the plugin to return the requested note, and then only uses the success/failure states to construct the result of the Shortcuts action. So, as far as the plugin is concerned, when there’s a valid error (note doesn’t exist), it’ll show a note about that.

PS: Since you’re describing an action triggered by AFO, I’ve moved the topic to that category.
