The readme says
This plugin ensures each note occupies only one tab per window pane.
No idea how in/frequent this is, but I would love Mononote to also work across panes: if a note is already open anywhere, just activate it.
Thank you for Mononote, it helps conserve sanity!
(while I’m at it: the readme contains a link to this forum, but the link is broken: it opens with a “page not found” error. I suspect it’s because it ends in /8 but should end in /6)
Sorry, just realized there’s an existing issue in GitHub asking for the same thing.
Thanks for the FR, @hmijail, and welcome to the forum! Yes, there already is a (one year old) FR on GitHub, true. And I didn’t get around to looking into it.
AFAICT, this issue is still present:
Mononote 1.0 didn’t filter for pane, which caused issues when used in conjunction with the Hover Editor plugin – hovering over a file name would open the Hover Editor but close any open tab showing the same file
I’ve yet to make time to dive into this.
It is a side project, though…
PS: Thanks for the notice re broken forum link, it’s fixed now!
