I’ve got a shortcut to save podcast show notes that’s been running for months w/o a problem, and all of a sudden, it’s been hanging at the Create a note action. The paths’ in my vault haven’t changed, and my podcast app seems to be returning the same information. Has something with Actions changed recently?
No, there was no recent change to either Actions For Obsidian nor its companion plugin, Actions URI. Did you add or update any other plugins in your vault recently?
If you haven’t, could you provide a screenshot of the workflow so I could take a look?
Thanks. Is Obsidian already running when Create Note is called? Because depending on vault size and number of plugins used, the initialization of Obsidian + Actions URI might fall on its face, which might cause this type of problems/stalls.
See How can I check if Obsidian is already running? for what I mean, and a possible workaround. For starters, it might help to add a native Open App action to the very top of the workflow to launch Obsidian…
I added a open app line at the very top, and tried again with the shortcut open, and got his message
Got it. Somehow I managed to turn off the actions URI plugin 
Ah! Yes, I was about to say that it sounds like Actions URI isn’t calling back. I’d love to be able to add a check for that but the type of API that Obsidian offers makes that an impossible task, I’m afraid.
