Obsidian is so bad at Mac dictation. Maybe only my M1 Mac has trouble. Siri is ok in other programs. I want to dictate into Drafts and or Notes and copy the file to an md fild in Obsidian. Does anyone have a shortcut for that? I tried and failed.

I’m not sure why the dictate function isn’t working directly in Obsidian. On my M1 Mac it works quite well. Nevertheless, I created a quick and dirty shortcut to dictate and create a new note with the result. This might at least help you test if the dictate function works better via a shortcut. If you click on the show more at the dictate action, you will find a few option, e.g. when dictation should stop.
